Raffle to
Benefit the NC Pottery Center

Visit the "Potters For The North Carolina Pottery Center" blog to learn more about NCPC and what's happening.

And the winner is...

At 5 pm on Sunday, August 31, the last customer at our Summer Kiln Opening drew the winning raffle ticket for the two gallon jar.

Visiting the pottery for the first time, Emily Wilkins, from Rutherfordton, NC, who was staying with her aunt and uncle, Terry and Carole Herndon in Pittsboro, pulled out the winning ticket. The lucky winner is Greg Sims of Durham, NC. Congratulations Greg!

116 tickets were purchased for the Raffle, raising a grand total of $2325 (one person paid $25 instead of $20 for their ticket), with all the proceeds to benefit the North Carolina Pottery Center. Many thanks to all who participated in the Raffle!

We have been staggered by the generous outpouring of support for NCPC during its ongoing Fundraising Campaign, and we are confident our goal of raising $100,000 will be met.

Please stay tuned for information about the upcoming Benefit Auction for NCPC of antique NC pots to be hosted by Leland Little Auction and Estate Sales on Sunday, September 28, 2 pm, in Hillsborough NC. For more information visit http://www.llauctions.com/
